We’ve got a fun filled week ahead with lots of ways to celebrate this milestone. While a lot has changed since we opened that 850 sq ft facility on West Fountain St in 2016 (mainly, we’re a decade older!), we continue to be driven by the goal of brewing great craft beer + and creating memorable experiences for our community. We open at 1PM, let the party begin!
The Return of “Firkin Friday”. Our penchant for creativity and experimentation was most colorfully expressed as part of our “Firkin Friday” program that launched in our first year. We would serve a non-traditional beer the traditional way with a manual cask engine. What looks like your classic pub set-up would often challenge expectations, often with playful ingredients and non-traditional styles. It was always fun and quickly became a Friday tradition. A Firkin Friday would not be complete without an Armando hang and muffin tin flights. IYKYK (and if you don’t we’re excited to share with you) Come enjoy it until it’s gone!
Music has played a huge role at Long Live. From our founder playing in bands, to our beer names and labels being inspired by various songs and artists, and now to our Can Jam Thursday where we let you vote on the night’s playlist. Through the afternoon, we will share with you a playlist that is a curation of all of our team's taste + style. What could go wrong?
Starting at 7pm, DJ Nick Bishop takes over the music to keep the party going and get the dance floor activated.
Share your memories with us and help us make new ones! We will have a polaroid camera to capture your candid moments with a communal scrapbook to detail your favorite Long Live memories and beers with us.
And because you have asked for them, we will be selling “vintage” labels from our past can releases (oh boy do we have a lot!) For you collectors, crafters and enthusiasts we will have these “stickers” available all week long!
Enjoy great food from our friends: Cultro and Cookie Chow from 5-9PM. Did you know that Cookie’s Chow first EVER pop-up was at Long Live Beerworks? And Cultro was one of the first food trucks to pop-up during our first summer at Sprague St.?
